UK High Court to begin hearing plea against sex-change hormones for under-18s
The High Court in London will in early January begin the hearing in a landmark test case to establish whether children can give informed consent to medical treatment for gender reassignment. Those initiating the proceedings want the court to declare as illegal puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones for those under 18 years of age who wish to change their sex.
