Saraf and Partners advises and acts for Mindhouse in its USD 6 million seed funding round

New Delhi, December 6, 2021: Saraf and Partners acted for and advised Blacktail Mindhouse Private Limited in relation to its Rs 44 crore (USD 6 million)seed funding round led by Three State Capital Pte. Ltd. – an entity backed by Binny Bansal.

Saraf and Partners, led by Partners Vaibhav Kakkar and Sahil Arora, were counsels to Mindhouse and its founders and acted on all aspects of the transaction, the Law Firm said in a press statement. 

The transaction team also included Partner Arjun Rajgopal and Associates  Keshav Pareek, Prarthna Bathija and Jasmine Khan.

Khaitan & Co. acted on behalf of Three State Capital Pte. Ltd, while Goodwin Procter LLP acted on behalf of General Catalyst.

The funding round also saw participation from various existing and new investors – General Catalyst, Better Capital, Grand Anicut Angel Fund, Kwaish Ventures, Capier Venture Partners India LLP, Guerrilla Ventures Private Limited, Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Private Limited, Srivatsan Rajan and Karan Singh. The Founders also participated in this round. 

Founded in late 2019 by Pooja Khanna (ex-ZomatoChief of Staff) and Pankaj Chaddah (former Zomato co-founder), Mindhouse initially started with a focus on mental wellness but subsequently pivoted to a broader coverage area of curative wellness. Mindhouse through its platform offers a variety of yoga, meditation and nutrition-based services across four focus areas – mental health, women’s health, chronic ailments and everyday wellness.
