Jaipur, June 26, 2021: The Rajasthan High Court has issued a notice ordering all its staff members to get both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine at the earliest.
“All the staff members of the Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur and Jaipur Bench, Jaipur are hereby directed to get both the doses of vaccine as per norms, at the earliest to avoid any inconvenience and for the safety of all the concerned,” the notice issued by the high court said.
Earlier, the Rajasthan High Court, in a significant notification, had ordered that only those persons who have completed 14 days after getting the second dose of vaccine against Covid19 shall be allowed inside court premises. It meant that if any advocate has not completed a period of 14 days after getting the second dose of vaccine, then that person will not be allowed to be physically present for hearing of cases in Rajasthan High Court and subordinate courts in the state, India Today reported.
Only those people who cannot take vaccines due to medical reasons as prescribed by the state / Central government shall be considered as exceptions, the notice said.
Physical hearing of cases will resume in Rajasthan High Court on June 28, after a gap of almost three months during which cases were being heard through video conferencing. The court had decided to stop physical hearing in Court premises due to the rise in Covid19 cases.
