IndusLaw advises ShareChat in Series H round

New Delhi, July 4, 2022: IndusLaw has advised and represented social media unicorn ShareChat in relation to its Series H round from Google, Temasek, Times group and certain other existing investors, the Law Firm has announced. 

The IndusLaw Team comprised Manish Gupta (Partner), Nikita Goyal (Partner) and Rashi Singh (Senior Associate). 

With a deal value of USD 255 million, this is a mega investment raised by ShareChat in a bearish market which shows its strong fundamentals and investor confidence in short video space, the Firm said in a press statement. ShareChat has crossed the $5 billion valuation benchmark after this round, it added.

Google was represented by JSA, and their team included Probir Roy Chowdhury, Yajas Setlur and Pranavi Pera. Temasek was represented by Khaitan & Co. and their team included Radhika Agarwal and Amulya Sharma. Times group was represented by SAM, and their team included Nikhil Sachdeva and Mayank Malhotra.
