Mumbai, May 27: The Bombay High Court today once again appreciated the “effective” work done by the BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in the second COVID-19 wave and asked why other local bodies particularly Pune and Nashik are not using the successful “Mumbai Model”.

“BMC’s work has been effective in reaching out to citizens,” the High Court noted.

The court also asked the Maharashtra government as to why BMC chief Iqbal Singh Chahal hasn’t conducted a video conference with commissioners of other municipal corporations and shared Mumbai Model, as reported by The Free Press Journal.

“Our only anxiety is the successful Mumbai Model should reach to all Corporations in Maharashtra,” High Court said.
