L&L Partners acts as counsel for IREDA in landmark deal

New Delhi, October 20, 2021: L&L partners recently acted as the lender’s legal counsel for the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) in relation to the refinancing of nine separate solar power projects, the Law Firm said in a press statement.
The solar power projects are set up in the states of Punjab and Telangana under six project companies subsidiaries of Vector Green Energy Private Limited, it said.
According to IREDA, under this deal it disbursed the highest loan amount of Rs 1100 crores to a single promoter in one day.
The Law Firm said the deal was led by Partner Karan Mitroo, assisted by Associates Surbhi Jain, Abhishek Wadiyar and Aditya Bhayal.
