L&L Partner advises SBI, HDFC Bank in separate deals

New Delhi, January 11, 2022: L&L Partners Law Offices has recently acted for and advised State Bank of India in connection with the financial assistance aggregating up to over Rs 960 crores to Renew Solar Power Private Limited, a subsidiary of Renew Power Private Limited, for refinancing existing term loans and the non-fund based facility from its existing lenders in relation to a 250 MW AC solar power project at Bikaner, Rajasthan.

The transaction team consisted of Partner Karan Mitroo, and Associates Subhrajeet Mahapatra, Surbhi Jain, Aishwarya Dixit, Aditya Bhayal and Arbina Dey, the Law Firm said in a press statement.

The Law Firm also recently acted for and advised HDFC Bank Limited in connection with the financial assistance aggregating up to Rs 5 billion to Green Gas Limited, a joint venture of GAIL (India) Limited and Indian Oil Corporation Limited, for takeover/refinance of outstanding existing facilities and part financing the ongoing & future capex of the Borrower for City Gas Distribution network and infrastructure in the authorized geographical areas, including Faizabad, Unnao, Agra and Lucknow.

The transaction team consisted of Partner Girish Rawat, Senior Associate Varun Chauhan, and Associates Ashneet Chhabra, Himanshi Bhadoria and Riya Manuja, the Law Firm said.
