As most law firms do not have a work-from-home plan — from the perspectives of both technology and employees’ mental health — Canada-based legal tech software company Clio is offering help in the form of committing $1million to help law firms navigate the difficulties that lie ahead.

The company’s CEO Jack Newton, in a statement, said, “As part of our disaster relief program, Clio has committed $1 million to help law firms navigate the difficulties that lie ahead. While much of what lies ahead is uncharted territory, this remains clear: we need to undertake a swift and massive transformation of the legal industry, and compress change that would have transpired over the course of years into change that needs to happen over a course of weeks.”
